1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TinyLapse, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

TinyLapse is a mobile application that allows you to:

• Create photo albums to track growth over time
• Capture photos using the in-app camera with filters and ghost overlay
• Generate time-lapse videos from your photo sequences
• Set customizable reminders for regular photo capture
• Optionally track baby information (name and birth date) for age display on photos
• Sync data across your Apple devices via iCloud

3. Use License

TinyLapse grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your iOS devices for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may NOT:

• Modify, copy, or distribute the app
• Reverse engineer or extract the source code
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the app for commercial purposes without permission
• Attempt to bypass subscription restrictions

4. Subscriptions and Payments

TinyLapse offers premium subscriptions with features including unlimited albums and photos, unlimited video generation, HD and Ultra HD video export (720p, 1080p), watermark-free videos, and priority support.

• Subscriptions are billed weekly or yearly through your Apple ID
• Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends
• Manage or cancel your subscription in App Store account settings
• All refund requests are handled by Apple according to their App Store policies

5. User Accounts

TinyLapse itself needs no account: albums, photos and videos work with your Apple ID alone. You may optionally link a TinyLapse account with Apple or Google so purchased AI credits survive a lost device. That account holds your credits and, if you fill them in, a name and a profile photo; you can delete it from inside the app at any time, which leaves your albums and your iCloud untouched. TinyLapse uses your Apple ID and iCloud account for data synchronization. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Apple ID
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring sufficient iCloud storage for your photos and albums

6. Content Ownership

You retain all rights to photos, videos, albums, and other content you create using TinyLapse. We do not claim any ownership over your content. By using TinyLapse, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the app's functionality. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to photograph individuals appearing in your photos and not using the app to store illegal or harmful content.

7. Privacy

Your use of TinyLapse is governed by our Privacy Policy at https://tinylapse.app/privacy. Your photos and albums are stored on your device and your iCloud; we do not have access to them. The one exception is a photo you choose for an AI keepsake, which is sent to our server and our image processor for that job only and deleted as soon as the job ends, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. AI keepsakes are part of this agreement: by using that feature you agree the photos you pick are processed as the Privacy Policy describes, and you confirm you have permission to share the photos of everyone who appears in them. The finished card is kept in your account for 90 days unless you delete it sooner.

8. iCloud and Data Sync

Data synchronization requires an active iCloud account and internet connection. You are responsible for maintaining adequate iCloud storage. We are not liable for sync failures due to insufficient storage. While we design TinyLapse to protect your data, we recommend keeping backups of important photos. We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, iCloud issues, or user error.

9. Disclaimers

TinyLapse is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, all features will work on all devices, or defects will be corrected within a specific timeframe.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TinyLapse shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of data, photos, or videos, loss of profits or goodwill, or any damages exceeding the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TinyLapse from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using TinyLapse at any time by deleting the app. We may terminate or suspend your access without notice if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use TinyLapse ends. Your locally stored data remains on your device.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate Turkish jurisdiction.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TinyLapse.
